Athena Vineyards overlook the Great Wicomico River with 15 acres of over a 20 varieties of grapes.  Not far from the Chesapeake Bay, Athena embraces the lifestyle of the area - crabs, rockfish and oysters are common in the region. Our philosophy of growing grapes and making wine in an environmentally safe manner is an important responsibility to land stewardship and the long-term relationship with our customers, our neighbors and the world.  We strive to be environmentally friendly, economically sound and socially responsible with all our winery and viticulture practices.

HUME VINEYARDS

Located on a 50-acre historic farm, Hume Vineyards is a family-owned and operated winery and vineyard dedicated to creating wines with a distinct personality. Driven by a spirit of innovation and experimentation, we offer a small number of wines in very limited quantities. We look forward to sharing our wines with you in our beautiful, intimate setting. We are hard to find, but worth the “Detour.”

ANNEFIELD VINEYARDS

Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia's Southern Piedmont, Annefield Vineyards is a place of unparalleled beauty and rich history. This boutique winery specializes in small lots using classic varietals: Viognier, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon andis within easy driving distance of Richmond, Charlottesville, Lynchburg and Danville in Virginia, and Durham, Raleigh and Greensboro in North Carolina.

LITTLE WASHINGTON WINERY

Little Washington Winery, Virginia's newest wine destination, is tucked into the edge of Shenandoah National Park near Washington, Virginia, the town George Washington designed in 1749. This boutique winery specializes in small lots of distinctive handcrafted wines, using classic varietals: and the fruits of the Blue Ridge mountains. The tasting room also features a popular Dirt Road tour of the best craft wines coming from Virginia and beyond. The Dirt Road selections change weekly to provide a different experience each time you visit. The tasting room is located within an hour of Washington DC, along Route 211, one of the most scenic drives in the State of Virginia.

LAKE ANNA WINERY

At Lake Anna Winery, our philosophy is simple. We strive to create a wide palette of diverse wines to accommodate an equally wide range of diverse palates and settings. Our trophy case got a little more crowded this year. Ten different Lake Anna wines have been awarded medals at recent competitions including the Taster’s Guild International Wine Competition, the International Eastern Wine Competition, and the Virginial State Fair.We invite you to delve into our cellar, try our offerings and explore the world through our wine-colored glasses.

DELFOSSE VINEYARDS

DelFosse Vineyards & Winery was established in 2000 in the Monticello wine region. The European-style terraced terrain of the DelFosse provides unique wine-growing conditions. We specialize in high end premium varietal wines and currently have ten varietals planted: Chardonnay, Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc, Petit Manseng, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Chambourcin.

DAVIS VALLEY WINERY  

Davis Valley Winery and Vineyard is located along America’s favorite scenic road, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and we’re right on the path to Virginia’s Crooked Road. Our 45 acres of grapes are nestled on a beautiful 363 acre estate in the mountains of Southwestern Virginia, just minutes off Interstate 81 at Exit54. Come sample our wines from our 100-year old oak antique bar, tour the winery, browse the gift shop, or just sit on the veranda and enjoy the spectacular panoramic vistas from our scenic hilltop setting.

MATTAPONI WINERY

Take a taste in time with Mattaponi Wine. The name comes from our three rivers in Spotsylvania County, Virginia: Matta, Po, and the Ni, which has also been used in history to name the Indian tribe once ruled by Chieftain Powhatan, Pocahontas' father.  We are a new family-owned winery with a passion for making wonderful wines, which includes our specialty fruit wines for over 20 years.  The names of our specialty wines are written in the Algonquin language, which is the Native American Indian language that was almost lost when the settlers arrived to America. The delightful berries of Virginia have been used for many generations, and today we bring to you our interesting selection of tasteful wines.

COOPER VINEYARDS

At Cooper, the quest to produce excellent wines  from the vines of our vineyard drives our decisions. We believe that a small winery, with proper effort and diligence can make wines of distinction. We are a specialty producer of Norton and Viognier. Come experience our award-winning Rhadsody, our 100% Virginia Wines and the adventure of creating a vineyard and winery. You’ll enjoy our unique tasting room, which is located inside the winery itself.

WELL HUNG VINEYARDS

William Shakespeare famously quipped, “Ripeness is all.” At Well Hung Vineyard, when it’s ripe, we concoct fine Virginia wines that stand up to any occasion. Aromatic grapes swell to bursting on sun soaked vines at Well Hung Vineyard. There’s something in the soil, something in the air that creates wines that are playful, fruity, bold and vibrant. From the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, climb straight up until you discover our bucolic vineyards nestled in a quiet valley. COBBLER MOUNTAIN CELLARS

Cobbler Mountain~ Home to the "Little Winery That Could"~ is where the fairies live in big poplar trees, children run barefoot to Thumb Run Creek and stories of the wise Grandfathers and kind Grandmothers are shared around the Grand Fire Circle at the foot of the forest. A legendary dreamer, Grandfather McCarthy, discovered Big Cobbler Mountain in 1959. His love of creatures and exploring has been preserved and passed down to his children and grandchildren. Come hike a wooded trail. Open a bottle of imagination. Sip handcrafted wines with the makers. Find a little fantasy under the old apple tree. Who knows who you will meet along the way?

ROSEMONT OF VIRGINIA

Rosemont Vineyards and Winery is located on 450 acres of picturesque rolling hills near beautiful Lake Gaston in Southern Virginia, just off I-85 between Richmond and Raleigh. Rosemont, the Rose Family’s ancestral home, and its farming operations have been in the Rose family since 1858. In 2007 an early American style, gravity-flow winery was built which offers a full complement of award-winning wines, including Pinot Grigio, Traminette, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Meritage.

HORTON VINEYARDS

Horton Vineyards, located in Orange County, Virginia, is one of the most innovative wineries in the country. Utilizing the latest viticultural techniques, Horton is charting a new generation of wines made from Viognier, the premier grape of France’s Rhone Valley, and other premium varieties from southern France, Portugal, Spain, Russia/Georgia, and Italy. Horton’s portfolio includes several nationally acclaimed wines, and has over 40 wines to sample and purchase, including some very interesting varietals, fruit wines, sparkling wines and ports.

UNICORN WINERY

Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, on one of Virginia's most scenic drives (Route 211 west from Warrenton) Unicorn Winery specializes in producing premium Virginia varietal wines. Taste a new breed of wines at Unicorn Winery, including Merlot, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Vidal. Take a break from the city and relax a bit in Virginia wine country where things are slower. Experience the beauty of the Blue Ridge with a picnic pond side, stroll down to the banks of the Rappahannock River, or enjoy playing horseshoes in our “Unicornshoe Pit”.

SAVOY-LEE WINERY

A small family-owned, farm winery located in Huddleston, Virginia, Savoy-Lee is within close driving range of Smith Mountain Lake, the Blue Ridge Mountains, historic Appomattox, and the cities of Bedford, Roanoke and Lynchburg, Close enough to be convenient, yet remote enough to feel like you've visited the local countryside.

LAZY DAYS WINERY

Lazy Days Winery is  located in what once was the Central Virginia Livestock Yard, on US29 (N Amherst Hwy), just south of Route 151. While red clay may be challenging for roses and tomatoes, grapes love it! Lazy Days Winery is host to the Summer Solstice Wine Festival in June. Bring a picnic, try some wines, wander around our 2 acre barn and rest a while!  

POTOMAC POINT WINERY

Potomac Point Winery is a grand Meditteranean–style estate, located in Stafford County. Nine distinctive varietals: make up the portfolio of this destination - Abbinato - A Chianti style Italian blend, Cabernet Franc,  La Belle Vie, Norton (2006) - Virginia' s own native varietal, Richland Reserve - a blend of Bordeaux varietals, Rabelos Virginia Dessert Wine, Late Harvest Vidal Blanc Dessert Wine, Richland Reserve Viognier, and Reserve Norton.

CHATEAU MORRISETTE

Château Morrisette is one of the oldest and largest wineries in Virginia. Located in a spectacular natural setting in rural southwestern Virginia, our winery production building and visitor center is considered the largest salvaged timber-frame building in the United States. From light-bodied Rieslings and buttery Chardonnays, to the bright fruit of our Chambourcin and rich, full-bodied Cabernets, our wine making team makes over 18 different award-winning wines.  Our location on the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway has introduced thousands of visitors to Virginia wines.

INGLESIDE VINEYARDS

Ingleside Vineyards is part of a 3,000 acre estate owned by the Flemer family for over one hundred twenty years. The winery is one of Virginia’s oldest and largest, with close to 100 acres of grapes. We produce twenty different wines including Virginia Brut, a sparkling wine made by hand, Methode Champenoise, as traditionally done in France. Wines from our Chesapeake Wine Company label have been particularly styled to go with Virginia’s famous Chesapeake Bay seafood. We are proud that no winery has won the prestigious Virginia Governor’s Cup, exemplifying the best wine in Virginia, as many times as Ingleside Vineyards. Come and enjoy a picnic in our lovely European style courtyard.

MOLON LAVE VINEYARDS

Molon Lave is a fifty acre estate winery located in Virginia’s pristine countryside, surrounded by grapevines, horses and ponds. Molon Lave wines represent a fusion of European traditional winemaking style and quality of fine Virginia grapes. The pleasant bouquet and exceptional flavors of Molon Lave’s signature Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Viognier, Chambourcin,  Riesling and Pinot Gris complete the experience of Virginia Wine Country.

MEDITERRANEAN CELLARS

Mediterranean Cellars is located just north of Warrenton, among the rolling hills of the Virginia countryside. This family owned winery was established in 2003 and this year its owner and winemaker is celebrating 50 years of wine-making tradition. An impressive variety of high-quality wines is availble for tasting and purchase, all made with grapes grown and processed on the property. Varietals include Chardonnay, Vidal Blanc, Viognier, Cabernet Franc, Chambourcin, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Specialty wines include Rechina, a traditional Greek dry white wine, Matina’s Rose, Calypso, Romance and Mejortage.
