CASTLE GRUEN WINERY
This unique boutique winery, located in the Monticello appellation, really is a "castle". Taste exquisite, iridescent wines. Estate wines are Merlot, Traminette and Chardonnay. The Merlot here is not your typical Merlot .... it's fermented completely in stainless steel for a big bold flavor. Princess Rose, the signature blend, is a rare blend of Merlot and Traminette.
PARADISE SPRINGS WINERY
The site of Paradise Springs Winery lies on 36 acres nestled in the quiet corner of Clifton, VA. It was part of a 1000 acre land grant from Lord Fairfax in 1716 and has been passed down through original family through the generations. The log cabin is estimated to have been built between 1800 and 1825. It was renovated in 1955 by a protégé of Frank Lloyd Wright. In 2008 a vineyard was planted on the property, securing the rural destiny of this rare and unique property, one of the few historical gems left amongst the ever expanding city sprawl in Northern Virginia. The winery debut includes Vidal Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Norton and Rose.
CROSS KEYS VINEYARDS
Cross Keys Vineyards, situated in the heart of the Shenandoah, provides panoramic views of vineyards and the surrounding mountains. This winery is only minutes from I-81, Massanutten Resort and downtown Harrisonburg.It is one of the largest wineries in the State with plenty of space for private functions as well. Wines in the Cross Keys portfolio include a white blend of Vidal Blanc, Seyval & Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Chambourcin, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Pinot Noir, Meritage and a luscious late harvest Chardonelle dessert wine.
NORTH GATE VINEYARDS
North Gate Vineyard is situated in on approximately 26 acres in the northwest part of Loudoun County. Nestled against the eastern base of the Short Hill mountains (foothills to the Blue Ridge), North Gate produces high quality wine grapes for its own set of wines as well as other wineries in Virginia. North Gate does not have a public tasting room at this time. North Gate's Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot can be found at select local wineries, markets, retail outlets, and festivals.

ROCKBRIDGE VINEYARD
Do you believe in destiny? As a boy in 1963 in his hometown of Williamsburg, Shepherd Rouse found a round green glass bottle seal with the date 1718 embossed on it. Ten years later on a semester abroad in Germany as a Washington and Lee University geology student, Rouse was intrigued by the vineyards, and so began a lifetime quest to produce fine wine in Virginia. One glance at the Rockbridge Vineyards wine list and you know he has certainly done it! Rockbridge wines are dressed with an impressive list of Gold, Silver & Bronze.
HORTON VINEYARDS
Horton Vineyards, located in Orange County, Virginia, is one of the most innovative wineries in the country. Utilizing the latest viticultural techniques, Horton is charting a new generation of wines made from Viognier, the premier grape of France’s Rhone Valley, and other premium varieties from southern France, Portugal, Spain, Russia/Georgia, and Italy. Ingleside Vineyards is part of a 3,000 acre estate owned by the Flemer family for over one hundred twenty years. The winery is one of Virginia’s oldest and largest, with close to 100 acres of grapes. MATTAPONI WINERY
Take a taste in time with Mattaponi Wine. The name comes from our three rivers in Spotsylvania County, Virginia: Matta, Po, and the Ni, which has also been used in history to name the Indian tribe once ruled by Chieftain Powhatan, Pocahontas' father. We are a new family-owned winery with a passion for making wonderful wines, which includes our specialty fruit wines for over 20 years. The names of our specialty wines are written in the Algonquin language, which is the Native American Indian language that was almost lost when the settlers arrived to America. The delightful berries of Virginia have been used for many generations, and today we bring to you our interesting selection of tasteful wines.

WHITE FENCES VINEYARD
High away in the blackness of the sky over Irvington, Virginia, the meteors often come in showers, slicing the sky by the hundreds or even thousands like the fins of silver fish around a boat at night. Beneath this excess of magic and motion lies the small vineyard called White Fences. While every wine has the character of the land in its soul, we call our wines Meteor because of the unique relationship between land and sky at White Fences. We have only six acres in the vineyard. And we make only a few handcrafted wines. But there is not a bottle of wine we create that does not have in its character that certain sense of itself and where it comes from.

Burnley Vineyards is one of the oldest vineyards in the Monticello Witicultural area. Burnley is the epitome of a family operation. We produce 5,000 cases a year from vinifera and french hybrid grapes. Our 30 acres of vineyards are planted in Chardonnay, Caberet Sauvignon, Orange Muscat, Muscat Blanc, Chambourcin, Vidal and even a little of the elusive Norton, an American hybrid that was first introduced on 1835.
At Virginia Mountain Vineyards you can forget about the present and enjoy the picturesque mountain views, visible on top of Zion Hill. Surrounded by the Blue ridge mountains to the east and the allegany mountains to the west, the winery is located fourteen miles north of Roanoke on interstate 81. Virginia mountain was established as a winery in spring of 1998. Wines produced include Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Traminette and Petit Verdot.
NEW KENT WINERY
New Kent winery, centrally located between Richmond and Williamsburg, is one of the newest and largest wineries in Virginia. The winery is constructed with reclaimed materials, including 40 foot heart pine trusses and pre-Civil War brick. A variety of vines were planted in 2001 including Chardonnay, Vidal Blanc, Cabernet Franc and Norton - the native grape to Virginia.
POTOMAC POINT WINERY
Potomac Point Winery is one of Virginia’s new destinations. Nestled in the Great Valley of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains, Fincastle Vineyard & Winery produces wines using traditional Bordeaux small scale techniques. PHILIP CARTER WINERY
There are few places that can boast the depth of Virginia wine history that Philip Carter Winery reflects. The family carries a two hundred and fifty year legacy as maker of the first recognized fine wine in America. It was Charles Carter, who, in 1762, sent the London Society for the Encouragement of the Arts a dozen bottles of his Virginia wine. The society awarded Carter a gold medal as the first person to make a "spirited attempt towards the accomplishment of their views, respecting wine in America." Located in Hume, Philip Carter Winery is seated on 27 acres of rolling hills in the heart of Fauquier County’s Wine Country.

Sugarleaf Vineyards is an award-winning boutique vineyard located in the heart of the Monticello wine appellation. The idyllic setting of VeritasVineyards is easy to find but hard to leave, located just off I-64 at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The unique wines of Veritas are all derived from vitis vinifera with the exception of one French hybrid. Wines here are handcrafted with the classic, old-style principles of Viticulture and Vinification,at the same time using state of the art technology to capture varietal and regional character. Varieties include Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Viognier, Rose, Petit Manseng, Kenmar, Cabernet Franc, Claret, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Othello and Mousseaux.
Taste the Altitude at 1,700 feet in the foothilss of the Blue Ridge Mountains at Stone Mountain Vineyards. The winery specializes in italian-styled wines that express the uniqueness of the rocky hillside vineyards. ROSEMONT OF VIRGINIA
Rosemont Vineyards and Winery, located on 450 acres of picturesque, rolling farm land near beautiful Lake Gaston, is the largest vineyard and winery in Southern Virginia. Rosemont, the Rose family's ancestral home, and its farming operations have been in the Rose family since 1858. In 2003, we continued the journey as stewards of the land with the planting of 21 acres of wine grapes. In 2008, we celebrated 150 years of farming and family tradition with the bottling of our first Rosemont of Virginia wines. Our early American, gravity-flow winery offers a full complement of quality wine ranging from our signature dessert, Rose’ and white varietal wines, to the classic red Bordeaux style wines.

THE WILLIAMSBURG WINERY
The Williamsburg Winery was established in 1985 by the Duffeler family. The first wine produced, Governor’s White, was released in 1988 and won a Gold Medal within two weeks. Our 50+ acres of vineyards which surround the winery offer a beautiful backdrop to the Old World-style village where the winery is located. With Gabriel Archer Tavern, a gorgeous full service restaurant nestled among the vineyards and Wedmore Place, a new 28 room country style Inn, on the grounds, Williamsburg Winery is the perfect destination for a weekend getaway in historic Williamsburg.
PEAKS OF OTTER WINERY
There's gold in the hills of Bedford County! According to the Beale treasure legend, there is about 25 million dollars worth of gold, silver and jewels buried somewhere between Blue Ridge, Virginia and the famous Peaks of Otter mountains. The treasure was buried between 1819 and 1821 by Thomas J. Beale. The real “gold” found in Bedford County is the combination of wonderful people, the beautiful landscape, and majestic views. Johnson Orchard was established in 1918 and Peaks of Otter Winery was established in 1996 as Bedford’s first winery. Now the fifth generation is working and producing fruit wines on the farm.
TOMAHAWK MILL VINEYARD
The history of Tomahawk Mill Vineyard and Winery takes you back in time to Confederate veteran James Anderson, who constructed a water-powered grist mill on Tomahawk Creek and began grinding for local farmers in 1888. The mill continued operation until 1988, when it was closed to plant a vineyard, starting with Chardonnay and Concord varieties. Pinot Noir, Johannesburg Riesling, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes followed, and the first Chardonnay vintage was produced in 1990. We are very proud of our wines, especially the Tobacco Road Blues, Vidal Blanc and the Earl of Chatham Mead.
